Interface, the annual National level inter-collegiate IT fest was organised for the 23rd time by the Department of Computer Science, CHRIST (Deemed to be University) on 20th and 21st of August, 2019 at CHRIST’s Central Campus. Version 23 of the Undergraduate fest offered a Boot camp,13 technical and non-technical events for visiting colleges, and 5 events for Christites from BSc Computer Science and BCA. Interface witnessed participation over 150 enthusiastic participants from over 10 colleges from Bengaluru and outside for the events. This year,Interface was a platform where an interactive Bootcamp viz. The Big Bot League 3 was conducted by EdgeVerve: an Infosys company on 20th August. On the event day, the 500 registered participants were given a challenge to create their own bots with the AssistEdge Community Edition robotic process automation (RPA) software. The AssistEdge Community Edition is designed for RPA enthusiasts to self-learn automation and join the rising Artificial Intelligence (AI) revolution. A platform to share, explore and experience robotic process automation, the EdgeVerve’s Big Bot League 3 was one of the largest Botathon in the country for the budding automation enthusiasts to create their own bots and win exciting prizes totalling 5 lakhs. It was an opportunity to interact with automation experts and network with like-minded professionals

All the contestants were provided with lunch coupons. They were given refreshments and were taken care of on both the days of Interface by the Hospitality team.

On 20th, there were 8 events conducted for participants from visiting colleges. Registrations started by 9 AM. All the participants were supposed display legitimate document of identity and participation from their colleges and pay the registration fees. All the participants were guided informally about college navigation and were told about helpdesks setup all over the campus.Events took place in slots from 10 AM to 6 PM.

On 21st, there were 7 events conducted for participants from visiting colleges and the 5 events for Christites. The events MUN and Photography & Videography were continued and finally concluded on this day. On this day, registrations took place again for new contestants. Registrations started by 7.30 AM for Hackathon. All the events wound up by 3 PM. Everybodygathered in the Main Auditorium for the Valedictory by 4 PM. The Runners up trophy was won by Jyoti Niwas Collegeand Presidency College was announced as the  Overall Winners of Interface 2019.

The valedictory was followed by a set of joyous performances and this finally marked the conclusion of Interface 2019.
